The Armani Group announced their first foray into the U.S. residential real estate market today, revealing that they will be exclusively partnering with New York/Miami-based Dezer Development and The Related Group. The Residences by Armani/Casa will be a César Pelli-designed, 60-story luxury oceanfront tower in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The project compliments Armani/Casa’s existing line of residential properties in the most exotic destinations around the world, including Macka Residences in Istanbul, Turkey; The World Towers in Mumbai, India; and Century Spire, in Manila, Philippines.
César Pelli is a world-renowned Argentinean-born architect, and the creator of the Petronas Towers in Malaysia and Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. His Armani tower design includes 260 luxury residences that reflect Giorgio Armani’s aesthetic sensibility, all while defining his sense of comfort, functionality and elegance.

If you aren’t familiar with the groups Armani is partnering with, they’re pretty substantial. Gil Dezer, CEO of Dezer Development, is already well-known for his work with the Porsche Design Tower and has been interviewed by JustLuxe in the past years. Dezer Signature Brands, an entity of Dezer Development, specializes in co-developing luxury high-rise residential and condo-hotel developments with marquee lifestyle companies. The company partners with prestigious globally recognized brands to develop unique condominiums at some of best addresses in the world. Dezer, owner of Dezer Signature Brands, is one of South Florida’s most accomplished businessmen and also one of the largest oceanfront property owners in Sunny Isles Beach.
Then you have Jorge Pérez, the CEO of The Related Group and someone has helped create innovative residential developments that have changed South Florida’s urban landscape over the past 30 years, engaging worldwide talent in art, fashion and design. The firm is one of the largest Hispanic-owned businesses in the US with a development portfolio valued in excess of $15 billion. In 2005, TIME Magazine even named Mr. Pérez as one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America.
More than 10 years after its creation, Armani/Casa has become a world leader in the luxury furnishings sector. Well-known internationally, the brand is present in 40 countries worldwide, with a total of 53 outlets, comprising 31 mono brand stores and 22 in-store shops. Since 2003, the Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio has provided complete interior design services to private individuals and property developers—from the conceptual phase through to supervising the execution. The studio’s work involves developing creative solutions (under the artistic direction of Giorgio Armani), which are always products of lengthy architectural research and extensive study into the project’s cultural, geographical and architectural context.
Located at 18975 Collins Avenue, The Residences by Armani/Casa is expected to be finished in 2016 and with so many great brands working together, we can’t wait to see how this project evolves.
