Produced by NuVybe’s founder and chief executive officer Herb Middleton (Mary J Blige, SWV, Nas, Usher), IG My Shoe Game is an ode to shoes, shopping and all things fabulous. IG, which is a commonly used term for the social media platform Instagram, provides a unique background for Ida Divine’s incredible voice and stellar songwriting skills.
“We wanted to create a song with Ida that was social media friendly and current,” says Middleton. “Nothing is hotter than Instagram right now so why not have a song that is relatable to the tech savvy, fashionable woman.”
A native of Staten Island, N.Y., Ida Divine is a soul lyricist who is frequently compared to the likes of Grammy Award-winning artists Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu.
